This is another Battalion (my college newspaper) graphic. The story here's about how students who send in letters to the editor (which gets printed in a section of the paper called "Mail Call") are spreading disinformation about the university's finances.

[edit] Enlarged her head. Thanks to those who pointed it out. :) I also changed the newspaper she used to hold to the disinformation symbol in order to make it "hipper". The newspaper seemed a bit too tacky. :)

[edit 2] I added the disinfo blurb at the bottom that grants me permission to use the disinfo icon so that I can sell this as a print.

Photoshop CS: 4 hours 45 min.

I think her head is too small, for her very well-built body, but I like this anyway. Your colour choice is really nice. And her shirt is great! I'd wear one :) Gah, I dunno, I keep looking at it, and maybe it's not the head, I don't know! The hair over her eyes maybe is throwing me off.

Man, I never had the balls to do stuff like that when *I* was in college.

The disinformation thing, not the pic. ;)

That sais, this is a different style from you. It's not the usual "polished sketch" look (sorry, haven't got another term handy for it) but I like the minimalist composition, and the use of the flat yet bold colouring.

Reminds me of some of the more experimental SNK art from back in the day (which is a compliment, I promise.) Excellent work! It'd be kinda cool to see a few more in this style. Well done! :)

Yeah, this style's not as strenuous or time-consuming as any of my other styles. It's even easier than pencil drawing, which I'd considered the easiest style to draw in until now. :) You can expect more artwork like this in the future.

As for the disinformation, heh, I'm kinda disinforming people by not saying that these students are inadvertantly spreading disinformation by not knowing what they're talking about; they're not doing it on purpose or maliciously, but what they're saying is not true (according to the dude who's writing the story). :shrug:

Cool! It's a more aggressive style (so to speak) but I think the world's ready for a bit more aggro version of your gals. ;)

Seems pretty crazy, especially that it's such a widespread problem.

I gotta say when we wanted something from the administration, we usually took the directed approach at our studentt paper. . .and hoo boy did we get slapped down for it. *L*

Great pic! Can't wait for more like this!
